Amenities

Our guest cottage is furnished with collectibles and country crafts, including an antique queen-size bed with a cozy duvet quilt. There’s a small kitchenette with all the necessities, a bathroom with shower, and a comfy spot out front to relax and read a good book. Enjoy a meal on the porch, or simply sit and enjoy nature’s beauty! The cottage also has its own private little yard and gardens, completely separate from the main house.

Breakfast Menu

We serve a hearty continental breakfast that includes various homemade breads, muffins, scones, and seasonal fresh fruit from our gardens. A more substantial hot breakfast is also available. Just tell us what you'd like and we'll deliver it to your door for you to enjoy in the privacy of the cottage and at your leisure. If you prefer to make your own breakfast, we will provide our own farm fresh eggs, homemade bread, and jams to prepare as you like.

Our Country Kitchen

We sell a tempting selection of home-baked goods and jams from our country kitchen. We highly recommend our Saskatoon berry pies and jams, prepared with berries from a local Saskatoon berry farm. Our homemade cranberry marmalade is made from fresh cranberries grown right here on Vancouver Island. This marmalade is so popular we sell it by the case!

Many of our products are made with the maple syrup we harvest from the Big Leaf Western Maples right here on our property. Very tasty!

Our Country Gardens

You can purchase fresh seasonal veggies from our garden if you want to do some of your own food preparation. Country flower bouquets are also available.

We would be pleased to give you a tour of the gardens, including a visit with the girls in the henhouse. And of course you will want to meet our resident sheep--Anne Shirley, Merilla, and the two lambs, Patrick and Clover!
